We use a variety of diagnostic tests to help identify the specific nature of your musculoskeletal injury or condition.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Our open MRI scanner is a sophisticated computer that uses strong magnetic fields to take high-resolution pictures of your bones and soft tissues. Our highly trained imaging specialist makes you as comfortable as possible during the exam.

Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA)

Our DEXA machine takes a picture of your bones and calculates their density. It is considered the ‘gold standard’ in measuring your bone health. The test is easy to take; it is painless and noninvasive, requiring no special preparations.

Computerized Radiographs (X-rays)

As the most common diagnostic imaging technique for orthopedists, we use X-rays for fractures and joint dislocations. We also may recommend it if we suspects damage to a bone or joint from other conditions such as arthritis.
